“The funds [$5 million for the law school], which are split between current use and endowment, will support the operation of our 12 clinics, which provide hands-on learning to students while helping to serve the unmet legal needs of North Carolinians,” a Duke Law spokesperson said. “About 60% of students enroll in at least one clinic or externship during their three years at Duke Law In practice areas including health law, entrepreneurship, wrongful convictions and immigration.”
