Formerly known as the Court of Appeals of Maryland, the state high court will now be dubbed the Supreme Court of Maryland. Additionally, the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland will now be known as the Appellate Court of Maryland, according to an opinion filed Thursday by the state supreme court.
