Gillispie brings a civil rights lawsuit against a police officer who was responsible for much of the investigation into a series of rapes in August 1988 and for the identification of Gillispie as the likely perpetrator, according to Gillispie’s lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
