U.S. District Judge Tom Durkin, who issued a contempt order against Tom Girardi and his firm last year, began an evidentiary hearing on Wednesday aimed at uncovering whether two other Girardi Keese partners, Keith Griffin and David Lira, should also be sanctioned for failing to pay $2 million to four clients with settlements over the 2018 crash of Lion Air Flight 610 in Indonesia.
